          This book aims to affirm the reality of the great miracle of al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj; the night journey from al-Masjid al-Haram to al-Masjid al-Aqsa, and the ascension from al-Masjid al-Aqsa to Sidrah al-Muntaha and further beyond.

           

          The book begins with the events during the tough and harsh years in the early years of Islam leading up to the miracle of al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj. Its main sections then describe the occurrences during the miraculous journey, while strongly emphasising that al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj was an action by Allah and that al-Isra’ wal-Mi’raj was not a dream but a reality that occurred with the Prophet’s body and soul ﷺ. At the same time, the book turns our attention to the exalted status of the Prophet ﷺ who saw part of Allah’s amazing signs on the earth and in the skies and who reached a position unattainable even by the closest angel to Allah as he ascended beyond Sidrah al-Muntaha. The book ends with the Prophet ﷺ receiving the obligation of prayer and seeing the greatest sign of Allah in the last phase of this miraculous journey.

           

          By studying this book, readers can further reinforce their belief in the divine will and absolute power of Allah, and strengthen their conviction in the eminent position, amazing miracles and undeniable truth of His Messenger ﷺ.
