          We Say

          Brass foundry Futagami has been handcrafting artisanal livingware products in Takaoka, Japan, since 1897. The beauty of the solid brass Luna Wall Clock belies its deceptive simplicity. It features 12 ridges that denote both hours and five-minute blocks of time. Black-painted laser cut stainless steel hands traverse the moon-like clock face. The brass surface is forged using an ‘Ihada’ sand-casting technique for a unique texture that gently reflects and absorbs the changing light throughout the day and month.

          Selector's Notes

          The Luna wall clock will oxidise and develop a warm patina over time. It is operated by one AA battery (included) and comes with a brass pin and nails for hanging.
